However.. .ID-Citation goes beyond the “standard” with the additional benefit of on board fingerprinting, facial matching, GPS monitoring & mapping, mag strip card reader, 2-D bar code reader, speech-to-text dictation and three modes of wireless communications.

Wireless Communications
The system is equipped to use any or all of three forms of wireless communication:
WiFi, Wwan, and Bluetooth for realtime AFIS searches and database updates. This makes ID-Citation adaptable to most all agency communication standards.

Prints Complete Citation Forms
ID-Citation is integrated with a rugged, fast printer which will print the front and back of the citation with the required county & state information, signature and fingerprint.

Automatic Data Input
The system will automatically populate the form fields by swiping driver license or other identification which uses either a mag stripe
or a 2-D bar code.

Speech to Text Dictation
Narrative dictation and notes can be entered by using the speech recognition system (optional).
An officer will not have to use a keypad to complete the narrative portion of the report.

Court Records Updated
When configured, information is integrated with court records, eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.

Configurable Crime Code Tables
ID-Citation accepts any state or county citation crime codes and allows for custom input.

Drop Down Menus
All forms are completed using drop down menus. This keeps the time and effort to issue a citation to a minimum.

Rugged Housing
ID-Citation is designed to withstand the day-to-day roadside hazards of the environment. It is housed in a rugged, impact resistant and water resistant case.
   
 

Integrated With Fingerprinting and Facial Matching Identification
In addition to the security and crime prevention benefit of knowing if the person stopped has outstanding warrants or is an unregistered sex offender, when used with issuing a citation this feature virtually eliminates the problem of tickets thrown out of court because the officer could not identify the offender several months after the ticket was written.

   
 

Infrared Digital Camera
Using a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera, with light meter and infrared lighting, photos can be taken in most any lighting condition, very low night time light without additional light sources, as well as midday bright sun exposure.
   
 

GPS Monitoring and Mapping
ID-Citation comes fully loaded with GPS monitoring and mapping integrated in the system. This provides area maps for the officer and automatically populates the event address fields. GPS mapping gives the officer the ‘specific’ address of the incident, again eliminating any questions which may cause a citation to be thrown out of court.
   
 

Captures Electronic Signature
ID-Citation includes an electronic signature pad to legally capture and print all signatures.
